Orchid Hospital and Khmer Artists Association Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Provide Healthcare Support for Cambodian Artists and Promote Health Awareness for Cambodian People

Orchid Hospital and Khmer Artists Association officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 12, 2026, aimed at broadly disseminating health information, raising public awareness regarding health issues, and providing healthcare support for Cambodian Artists.
The signing ceremony was presided over by Mr. Emerson M. Mar, CEO of Orchid Hospital, Lok Chomteav Neak Oknha Mao Chamnan Kith Meng, President of the Khmer Artists Association, and attended by distinguished guests, including Oknha Kith Lychanphanna, Vice President and Senior Advisor of the Khmer Artists Association and Executive Chairman of KLYP Investments; senior management representatives; medical professionals; members of the Khmer Artists Association; artists; and national and international guests.
During the ceremony, Mr. Emerson M. Mar, Country Managing Director and CEO of Orchid Hospital

Representing the Khmer Artists Association, Oknha Kith Lychanphanna, Vice President and Senior Advisor of the Association and Executive Chairman of KLYP Investments, delivered remarks on behalf of Lok Chumteav Oknha Mao Chamnan Kith Meng, President of the Khmer Artists Association.
In his address, Oknha Kith Lychanphanna emphasized that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving the quality of life, healthcare access, and overall well-being of artists across Cambodia, particularly senior artists who have dedicated their lives to preserving and promoting Khmer arts and culture.
“Artists are invaluable contributors to society and national identity. They are the custodians of Khmer culture and heritage. Ensuring their health, dignity, and well-being is a responsibility that we must collectively uphold,” he stated.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding, members of the Khmer Artists Association are expected to receive a range of healthcare benefits and preferential medical services from Orchid Koh Pich Hospital and Orchid Sen Sok Polyclinic, including access to quality medical consultations, treatments, and healthcare support programs.
